On December 16, reigning UFC welterweight champion, Leon Edwards, will go up against Colby Covington to fight for the title. As one of the most coveted titles in all of MMA, this is sure to be a must-watch matchup. Especially considering the recent comments made by Covington accusing Edwards of cheating.
This card also features another exciting matchup in the co-main event, Alexandre Pantoja vs. Brandon Royval. The other fights on the main card include:

On January 13, 2023, two light heavyweights will enter the ring to finish a fight that started back in October. Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion challenger Ankalaev dealt an illegal knee to Walker in the previous fight, which caused Walker to be unable to continue, ending the fight in a no contest. Walker will surely be out for revenge in this matchup.

Current Middleweight Champion Sean Strickland has been impressive since he earned his title, but Du Plessis shouldn’t be discounted. The two will face off against each other in Toronto this January to compete for the Middleweight title. Du Plessis is hoping to defeat Strickland, gain the Middleweight title and then continue on to eventually secure the UFC championship in two different weight classes.
The main card for the fight also includes matchups between:
- Raquel Pennington vs. Mayra Bueno Silva (Bantamweight Title Bout)
